Garlic

We have plenty of garlic for everyone! Our first harvest of garlic at the farm was August of 2022. We brought in 75 pounds of seed garlic from another local grower last year, and multiplied that to almost 400 pounds of harvest for 2022. A third gets replanted for 2023, and the rest goes straight to you.

Our garlic is a hard-necked variety called "Music", one of the more popular varieties for the southern Quebec climate. This variety has excellent flavour, texture, and it stores well at home. All our garlic was hung to dry and cure in our hayloft before packaging. It should hold for several months at your home. For best results, store in a cool, dark location that has good air circulation. There are approximately 15 bulbs per pound.
