Stewing cubes: grass-fed beef
Our stew cubes are pre-cut into 1" pieces, packaged into 1 pound packages and frozen.
Stewing cubes are generally cut from some of the bigger and harder working muscles of a cow. Therefore this meat can tend to be too chewy if not cooked properly. Cubes go very well in recipes that cook slowly over a long time, and yield melt-in-your-mouth tenderness. Stews, soups, chili, braising, and more, these are the kind of dishes where stewing cubes come into their own.
